How to measure for swimwear

Stand comfortably in front of a mirror. Keep the tape parallel to the floor for measurements around your body; let it rest against your body without pulling it tight. Measurements are in inches.

Around the fullest part of your chest.

Around the rib cage below your bust.

Around your natural waist crease.

Choosing your fit

  • For bikini separates, check top and bottom measurements independently when the product offers separate sizing.
  • For a one-piece, consider torso length as well as bust, waist and hip measurements.
  • For adjustable ties and straps, use the product description to see how much you can customize the fit.
  • If a product page has its own size guide, use that guide for that item. This general chart does not cover men's swimwear.
